Artist's Statement
Every year the bridges in the middle of downtown Chicago are raised to allow the the sailboats sail to Lake Michigan. Featured here is one of Chicago's busiest streets, Michigan Ave, which has a double-decker bridge. This is one of 52 moveable bridges in Chicago, the most for any city in the world.
All the cars, buses and pedastrians have to wait for the few boats to sail by... a process that takes about 15 minutes for each bridge. This happens once or twice a day in May and June. I really love the two construction workers on right leaning on the stair railings watching the boats go by. Although the main Wacker Drive construction has been done for over a year now, this section of Wacker is still being worked on. And we can see why. |

Glossy Finish Photo Prints
Printed on Kodak Edge paper, Glossy Photo Prints have an extremely smooth, reflective surface. Glossy finishes have a high-contrast appearance and are slick to the touch. Photos will have a shiny finish, with sharp and vibrant colors.
Matte Finish Photo Prints
Printed on Kodak Edge paper, Matte Photo Prints have a smooth surface. Matte finishes have a lower-contrast and are often used to enhance the innate textures of Photo Prints.
Lustre Finish Photo Prints
Printed on Kodak Super Endura, Lustre-finished Prints are a premier paper offering. Lustre has a slight gloss with a subtle, matte texture. Lustre paper has deeper color-saturation and higher contrast than matte and can sometimes result in a darker image.

For a contemporary feel, our Premium Paper Giclée Prints deliver vivid color reproduction and exceptional detail on high-quality Matte heavyweight paper stock.
