When I drew this, I had absolutely not Star Wars in mind. I was inspired by the work of Shunya Yamashita, a famous japanese artist when it comes to sexy busty girls in science-fi costumes.

But when I posted it, I realized I had no title for it. And then I thought "Let's see... a girl who just destroyed a planet with a huge overpowered laser gun... how could I name it?"

I thought of several titles but they were often either lame, not explicit enough, or too long, like "Did you call for a massive exterminator?".

I finally choose this one because it is quite easy to get.
When it comes to destroying planets, you obviously think "death star", and art meant to personify an inanimate pop-culture item is common.
The "new" and "improved" solve two problems : the "improved" obviously refers to my love for anime girls, explaining the anime style, and the "new" solves the problem of the design being far from the actual death star.
Since I repeat : this drawing was not made with star wars in mind at first, DA small room for titles is responsible. :p

It's been a while since I did a drawing I'm really proud of, without any stupid detail bugging me in it.
Well there probably will be in a few years when I'll be even better, but for now I consider it one of my best. Therefore I'll make it available as print.
