Artist's Statement
This is the last in my series of Faeries for a greeting card submission. I thought this would be a nice tribute to those classical paintings where a young man is sleeping in the forest and lit by moon night. "Endymion" by Girodet was one of my favorite paintings when we studied art history in college. Of course in my version, the admiring faerie is up to no good. The faithful dog is based on my Miniature Australian Shepherd, Freckles, who is a pretty good watch dog (unlike the one in the painting...perhaps the canine and horse are enchanted too). Glossy Finish Photo Prints

Matte Finish Photo Prints
Printed on Kodak Edge paper, Matte Photo Prints have a smooth surface. Matte finishes have a lower-contrast and are often used to enhance the innate textures of Photo Prints.
Lustre Finish Photo Prints
Printed on Kodak Super Endura, Lustre-finished Prints are a premier paper offering. Lustre has a slight gloss with a subtle, matte texture. Lustre paper has deeper color-saturation and higher contrast than matte and can sometimes result in a darker image.

For a contemporary feel, our Premium Paper Giclée Prints deliver vivid color reproduction and exceptional detail on high-quality Matte heavyweight paper stock.
