Artist's Statement
The final cover design for the second tome in my brother's Transcendental Warrior Trilogy. For more info about the books please visit artofbodyandmind.com A lot of work went into the revamped covers that I designed, and I also had a much tighter deadline than ever before. This time around the idea was to create three distinct warriors for the three tomes. The second tome showcases a spiritual warrior in the midst of battle against the forces of darkness. The reddish tones are meant to demonstrate the intensity of the fight and the warrior's unshakable courage. The pose of the character was my biggest challenge due to the fact that I had to fit him on a more vertical canvas (dimensions of the front cover). I also spent a lot of time on the sky effects and highlights. I kept the original armor and warrior designs from the old versions of the covers along with the same sky and repainted/manipulated them.

Glossy Finish Photo Prints

Matte Finish Photo Prints
Printed on Kodak Edge paper, Matte Photo Prints have a smooth surface. Matte finishes have a lower-contrast and are often used to enhance the innate textures of Photo Prints.
Lustre Finish Photo Prints
Printed on Kodak Super Endura, Lustre-finished Prints are a premier paper offering. Lustre has a slight gloss with a subtle, matte texture. Lustre paper has deeper color-saturation and higher contrast than matte and can sometimes result in a darker image.

For a contemporary feel, our Premium Paper Giclée Prints deliver vivid color reproduction and exceptional detail on high-quality Matte heavyweight paper stock.
