Between Worlds

Let me start out by saying getting pictures of small bugs in macro is very difficult! So well done on geting this picture.

You captured the bug pretty well. You can see it's eyes and you can distinguish it's colors with ease. It's a bit out of focus though. You should either try to focus more on the bug or at least the face.

The background is what is hurting the picture. It is a great color choice o show the bug, but it is very dull. It seems like just a plain green piece of paper. When keeping it out of focus, try to add some visible shapes in there, at least, so their is more to the picture. Maybe of some leaves or grass, or wherever this was taken. Also, try to also focus on the thing the bug is clutching on to. That would help focus on the bug, too!

But, overall, this is a great picture, especially for someone who is new with macro. I can see great potential in your work!
