I decided to do some pieces specifically to fit on the mug template. The decision was enhanced by an interest to work with the wide, narrow canvas.

This first piece is some kind of wild faerie peeking through the foliage of some lush, vibrant plant. More to come, I hope, both similar formats and similar subjects (more faeries, and more than just eyes).

Inked line art was scanned and digitally colored in CS5.
