The Flames of Heaven

In an my continued practice with HDR, I occasionally stumble upon effects by pure accident. Come to think of it, that sounds like most of my photography. I was actually trying to make this photo look as realistic as possible with a full dynamic range of color, but instead I spent the majority of the time playing with effects that made the image hyper-realistic to the point of looking surreal. Thus, the above image.
