Artist's StatementThis is a highly romanticized illustration of one of our favorite spots to hang out back home. It's seldom possible that four girls like these would show up at a place like this.
On the background is a convenience store and up front is a makeshift grill where you can buy cheap barbecued stuff. They only start grilling at late afternoon. In this pic, they only sell chicken/pork small intestines (isaw), blood (betamax), and pork barbecue. In real life they could also serve stuff like pork bladders (i dunno what they call it), pork ears (headphones), chicken feet (adidas), and chicken head (helmet). You could also bring your own food to be grilled. And oh yeah, i also changed the store's name into a fictitious one. Inked in illustrator, colored in photoshop. Finished Oct 23, 2003. |
