This is the head/helmet I made for my 8 cosplay from the Movie 9 by Tim Burton (which is based off of a Short by Shane Acker). The heads base is originally a baseball helmet with tons of expanding foam that I carved into the proper shape for his head. I then painted it dark brown, and when that dried I added the burlap skin to the head. That wasn't easy mind you lol but after that I went through with a long and curved needle and gave him that Frankenstein stitching across his face with brown wool. After that was done I glued on his eyes which are mainly PVC which I cut and painted and added craft-foam for the iris of his eyeball. Now The hardest part about the eye for me had to be making that shutter lense part for the pupil... now that would of been awesome to make it move but I just did a lot of geometry and came up with the proper overlayed/layered pupil you see which is made out of thick cardboard.
