I adore my city. Melbourne is utterly beautiful (more so than Sydney!). For any first-time visitors to the city, can I just suggest that you spend a good deal of time walking around your neck craned and your eyes trained on our beautiful buildings. I swear, people don't spend enough time appreciating city's and looking up at what's around them - if you do so in Melbourne, you'll swear you're in London for all of our gorgeous Victorian-inspired architecture.
