Artist's Statement
This was a relatively quick production where I worked with less planned composition, texture and colour. I wanted a rough, fast aesthetic to the image and to avoid the staleness that can sometimes come from meticulously planned images.
Cold Building pays tribute to my appreciation of sharp angles, blocky architecture and inaccurate perspective. Originally most of the form was a small ink drawing which was scanned, some digital elements were added and the image reprinted. The print was then painted on with acrylic paints where all the colour and texture comes from. The painting was then rescanned for some further digital adjustment. |

Glossy Finish Photo Prints
Printed on Kodak Edge paper, Glossy Photo Prints have an extremely smooth, reflective surface. Glossy finishes have a high-contrast appearance and are slick to the touch. Photos will have a shiny finish, with sharp and vibrant colors.
Matte Finish Photo Prints
Printed on Kodak Edge paper, Matte Photo Prints have a smooth surface. Matte finishes have a lower-contrast and are often used to enhance the innate textures of Photo Prints.
Lustre Finish Photo Prints
Printed on Kodak Super Endura, Lustre-finished Prints are a premier paper offering. Lustre has a slight gloss with a subtle, matte texture. Lustre paper has deeper color-saturation and higher contrast than matte and can sometimes result in a darker image.
Giclée Art Prints
For a contemporary feel, our Premium Paper Giclée Prints deliver vivid color reproduction and exceptional detail on high-quality Matte heavyweight paper stock. Our Premium Paper Artworks are mounted onto a 3/8 inch-thick Masonite board and are ready to hang in a sleek floating wooden box frame, available in Jet Black or Espresso Colors.
