This is how Kyoru-chan died.
Protecting her brother, of course she wasn't the strongest. But it was either him or her. So she gave up her life to save her big brother.

"S-Sasuke-kun... I-it's good to s-see you're not hurt." Kyoru said, as pain ran through her body. She then turned to see Sasuke's face, tears were running down. Never has she seen her big brother shed a single tear. "Don't do this..." she started.
"W-what?" he asked looking straight at her face.
"Don't she tears for me... It only makes you weaker... I want you to be stronger, Itachi may have killed me, but at least I know you'll live on. Goodbye... Maybe we'll see each other again, one day..." she said, before her eyes closed, to never be awakened again.
