Why do I pay high-calibre talent to render my characters that I'll never really get to do much more than write fanfic with?

Mostly because I'm crazy, I guess.

But I really do love my characters once I invest time and imagination in them, and there is nothing quite like seeing them brought to life by the talents of someone like Nebaroth ([link].

So here's my version of Cir-El, all grown up, in full command of her powers, taking her place in the Justice League and defending the Earth in the family tradition and showing her emotional range, while giving reference to any artists who may follow on this particular flight of fancy with me.

If you enjoy my stories please do say so, and I will always be happy to post more of them here... I just got an idea for another one today, and I enjoy writing... it is something that gives me a sense of accomplishment even when it seems that the rest of my life is just spinning its wheels :)
