竜の花火

Okay, so for those who don't know, these are two characters from Sunshowers (who haven't made it into the story yet, but have appeared in filler art occasionally). Their names are Amaya (the girl) and Tatsuya (the... guy... who's not really a guy).

But since Tatsuya is a Dragon in the Chinese zodiac, I decided it would be great to draw him again for the Chinese new year (about a week ago).

Technically, these two are being so disrespectful right now... Sitting on the komainu and the torii... Get down, you two hooligans!! But it's for the sake of awesome. As far as coloring... Lots of red and gold. Random floaty clouds of color... magical... and meh fireworks. But there are stars in the sky there, and there are constellations hidden in there. (Half of the constellations are blocked by stuff, but I'll be amazed if you can figure out which ones are there.)

Now if you pay attention to the details here, you might be able to figure out more this couple. But I won't tell you.

Also I timed how long each step took me.
