Made for the talented ~Famion :iconFamion:, who won the Contest over at BBC-Sherlock! With her submission:Just After(take a look, if you haven't seen it already :))

She basically gave me free reign in what I wanted to do - which of course meant I went through a bunch of ideas I never finished LOL
But... I thought this would do nicely ;)

I painted Sherlock, using several references and still becoming increasingly frustrated with it LOL The coat and pose, by the way, are taken from a fashion magazine, because I just thought it looked gorgeous ;)
I used photoshop to generate the stained glass window effect behind him. The border took a bit longer to create. Most of it I designed after one of Mucha's borders.
As always the most effort went into giving it a bit of an 'old-new-poster' look - if you get what I mean ;)

So another art nouveau Sherlock to add to my collection :XD:
