Title based on the opening theme of a <i>certain</i> anime.

Try to guess which anime is it? It's one of the very first anime I really followed through my childhood, which has been one of the major source of inspiration in my life. Lately, for the sake of nostalgia I begun re-watching it again. It has accompanied me as I worked my way through the second semester of my college.

And the characters drawn here are <i>not</i> from the anime, but in a way, they <i>are</i> from the anime. Go figure. ;)
