I recently joined the Children's Illustrator Society :iconchildrensillustrator: and decided to dive right in and attempt to come up with something for the monthly theme which is 'Underwater'
Although this is not necessarily the cutesy type kiddy stuff that some may expect, I once read a book called the Rainbow Fish, which was beautifully illustrated and this is somewhat inspired by that :D
Done in Prismacolor pencils on 8.5"x11" black paper.
