This is an entry for a fairy tale contest. I decided to illustrate the little match girl, although it is a very sad fairy tale, because I have many memories attached to this story.
It was the first fairy tale I enacted on the stage in my first year at the ballet school. I remember very happily that show, although I was risking to dance my piece alone, since my partner didn't show up in the end -__-: I interpreted one of the angels who cast a magic spell on the little match girl matches, to make her dream come true. Fortunately, the teacher found a replacement for the other angel, and this girl was pretty diligent, since she learned all the piece in two days. :D
I really love that show! Even though it's nothing special from a technical point of view, it will remain a milestone in my life. Also because the teacher, some years later, would find out that I can be also a devilish girl, if you get me angry! :XD:
