My first city-tour during my "working trip" to Rhineland-Palatina headed to Speyer, famous for his dome and "Altpörtel" one of the highest gate in Germany.
This picture shows the bell tower of the "Bernhardskirche" (church of St. Bernhard) which was build between 1953 and 1954 as a sign of reconciliation between France and Germany. The bell tower is seperated from the nave, making this church additonally special.
