Egyptian Curiosity

I'm actually quite proud of this piece due to research. Believe it or not, the background actually means something in translated hieroglyphics!! (e-mail me and I’ll tell you the translation. )

Now, the painting is not a perfect representation of ancient Egypt, though I tried my darnest to get most of it right. So please, no e-mails about inaccuracies. I’m not an Egyptian professor/archeologist/genius. Just an artist trying to (insert explanation here).
