Artist's Statement
The first of four paper cut representations of Alphonse Mucha's "The Arts" set.
This is one out of four ladies to represent Mucha's views of the arts. This one represents Dance. This one I have to say is my favorite, because she really looks free to me. The way the cloth wraps around her is amazing. This one was messed up though, I put too much spray glue on it and it leaked so I had to spray paint it white again and then re apply the spray glue, after having to gently rip it off the back paper. I'll learn to be even more delicate on things like these X_x; Possibly still for sale if requested. If not i'll either keep it myself or give a a present :iconfurrydanceplz: My etsy account can be accessed from my journal~ :iconmeowderpfaceplz: Approximate time: 13 - 15 hours Sketch time: 3 hours Cut out time: 8-10 hours Spray paint: 30 mins Glue and touch up: 1 hour and 30 mins The others can be seen here: Music: [link] Poetry: [link] Painting: [link] |
