For <i>Derision</i> I had the beautiful Mara stand inside a running shower surrounded by five colored light-bulbs, no color post-processing was done, I shot her through a glass shower door. She was incredibly brave since she was in a lot of water with several electrical devices secured above her, they were all plugged into safety-breakers but she still would have received a nasty shock had any of them fallen. Since all of the lights were inside the shower she has dramatic shadows in her eyes and on parts of her body creating a look of being trapped, I added additional hands to increase the feeling of a struggle to escape, but since her body seems so still everywhere else it gives the impression of an internal, or emotional struggle.
