While waiting to leave for my grandpa's funeral, I decided to take out my camera and snap some photos of my parents' house. It's much easier to process grief when one is doing art, I think.

Irreverent title is terribly irreverent. Also very literal.

This is a small gnome and a clay pigeon that my mom placed in the vase of the jade plant in our living room. The gnome in particular just looked a bit magical to me, lying there in the old leaves of the plant.

Also, I'd just found my macro setting on my camera, and I wanted to play with it. ^_^
