This was originally suppose to be an entry for DA's Seven Deadly Sins contest, but I knew, once I started this piece, it would never get done in time. A lot of hours and layers of color in this piece. The scan didn't truly pick up all the different colors layerd in this piece. I used color pencil/water color pencil and it was done on Stonehenge.

This is probably one of the most symbolic works, I have ever done. I was inspired by my daughter, who is very slothful. She is a daydreamer, very lazy, lets time slip pass her, while the cobwebs collect. The dove represents a symbol of peacefulness, the butterflies flittering about appear on a "dogday" lazy summer day. Feathers float about beginning to enshroud her and the clock ticks away as time passes by, ever so quickly. And the cats, well most cats, at least ours, are extremely lazy.
