Artist's Statement
Originally set up to create a miniature sun in one capsule, this experiment had neighbouring capsules added to it and eventually became more about the aesthetics of weather phenomenon and likely would be found in places like interactive museums of science and technology. The sun is still the biggest energy user though but outputs enough to run its neighbours, like how the weather works for real :sun:
This is my latest work for The Luminarium's recent exhibit themed "Energy". I kinda wish I had the time to do more with such an interesting an open theme. But I've been preoccupied a lot lately, mostly for good reasons though. Like completely re-doing all my now outdated custom brushes, models etc since I want to revamp all those so I can hopefully work faster on future works. This definitely wasn't fast though, took a few weeks, mostly for modelling everything. Though the render was pretty slow too  Created using Cinema 4D, Vue 7 and Photoshop. People who like this might also like a similar themed artwork I did - Synthetic System :alien: <b>All artwork in my gallery is copyrighted and not for free use.
