Location: ZOO Zagreb (although we saw them AT the zoo, they are wild and can leave at any time), Croatia
Camera: Canon EOS 40D
Lens: Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM
Year: 2010.
The local zoo was holding a photo safari today so my friend and I reserved and bought those special tickets and spent 2 hours being told what we already knew because we missed the fact that it's almost a full beginners class, but still
It was a great feeling to pet some animals and feed the Camels ^^ I also finally got the use of my Canon's manual options, I was having troubles with that but now it's all just perfect!

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactI have never seen this in real life which makes this an even better photo that you were able to capture this. I love how you froze this moment in time as these two face off. The black background also brings the two birds forward and makes them the center of attention big time. I say you clicked the shutter pretty much at the perfect time, the poses of both of them are stunning though some feather detail is lost a bit, thankfully not much. I also like the somewhat center composition with this piece, I think it works to bring the birds more focus and have them stand out even more and it helps show the fight they are engaging in.
