This was definitely not on my list of things to do, but then I looked out of the window... When your dog looks up at you like that, <i>how can you not draw him??</i>

(I had to photograph him for reference because it was clear that he wasn't going to pose for me for seven to eight hours).

To answer your questions: He is a purebred <i>mutt</i>. His mother is creamy off-white and medium-sized; his father is black, and small enough to eat for breakfast. <i>He</i> was an accident (of the variety where you don't watch your dog closely enough and she slips out for an amorous encounter). He likes dried squid, dirt, and being the centre of affection. He hates baths; in fact, it is common knowledge that he is every bit as disreputable as his owner.
