While the photo itself is a wonderful shot, I have to say I am a little disappointed with the title. You show a great amount of vision and imagination with this shot, it just doesn’t make it to the title.
The only other thing I think could be different would be the wraps. They just look too clean. The white distracts from the fighter himself. If the wraps where smudged up a bit with a little dirt and dare I say it, a little old blood (bright red would again draw too much focus away I think) that would tone down the wraps and return the viewers focus to the model. A bit of wear and tear on those wraps would provide more impact, as it would seem that he just finished sparring and is ready to take all comers.
I like the lighting direction because it highlights his face and reminds one that a fighter is not just the muscle and fight, he is a human as well.
Overall, I like this piece and have to say Very Well Done.
