Charlotte is our oldest Tarantula. She's quite a pretty spider, especially right after a molt, like this. But unfortunately she did not want to cooperate for photographs, and I don't push her as she is temperamental. Here she decided to close up and hide. But you can see some of her color on her carapace.

She's 4 or so years old now. I got her as a near adult. Rosehair's live a long time so not sure how old she is, but she is comparable in size to Jitter who I got as a sling around the same time. So I'd guess she isn't more than 6 years old.

Her molts come around 14 months now.
