Well i would say that this wasn't harpg..... and it kinda isnt but god its amazing to draw a horse again!

i have missed it like mad so even though i have my exam tomorrow morning i failed at studying and lost myself in this fella!

ill just say Im in love with how he turned out! His colouring makes me want a Sooty Bay in my stable........ YUMMO!!

So anyho enough of my ramblings.. this here fella is for the contest at :iconthequarterpole:.

I looked through the lists of winners and searched in vain for an Australian winner... but it seems as if the Phar Lap curse has seriously put a dampener on the Aussies coming over to invade American racing...

So instead i looked at the earliest record i could find.... and the first race was the Breeders Cup Juvenile.... So this is the 1984 Winner!

I looked online and found a lot of images of other horses... only a few actually showed him. And i fell in love with his stunning colouring and that neck! His flashy white bandages are in all his racing photos so i included them here on this young stallion as he would have been seen in his heyday!
