The 4th of July at my Uncle Mike's.
This is why the 4th is one of my most favorite holidays. It's not about patriotism, really, but about spending time with friends and family, and spending a whole lotta $$$ on fireworks to set off illegally.
(I have no idea why it's perfectly legal to buy fireworks in Ohio, but illegal to set them off. 
Anyway, we were out in the country, so no harm done).
My little cousins (my cousins' children, actually) had a lot of fun with many many boxes of sparkles. I stood back with my tripod and watched all the excitement. This is my favorite shot of the bunch that night.
