Artist's Statement
This is the best thing I did in a very long time, probably ever.
Here's the reference [link] Her gallery is so beautiful, I just had to pick up some of that amazing shots, and I swear I'm gonna do them all:) so keep checking:) I changed the model's face a bit to make her look a little more lost and "absorbed in her own world", just how she was in my head during the whole time drawing it. In my mind, she's a girl that doesn't feel like she belongs in this world, in this society (that's why she's B&W) but desperately wants to, and that's why she's dressed like that. The phone cabin represents how she hopes for someone to come and save her and take her where she can be happy, but she doesn't know WHO can do that, and so she feels lost. (Sorry for this, I just had to take it out from my head or I'd be thinking about it for the next week:) Had so much fun doing it, I think def some more is coming:) c&c are always welcome. Sorry for the bad quality, I hope you can see all the deatils and effort I put into it even though it's a cell photo. I'm gonna get a bigger scanner for Christmas, I swear!
