in my humanities class, we're getting into greek and egyptian mythology... anyway, these two (the sky goddess and earth god) are always depicted like this. with her spread above him (like a crescent, ya know?) and him sitting back, looking up at her. obviously they're egyptian. :roll:

they fell in love but were forbidden to get hitched within the 360 days of the year. so they went to another god for help and got him to add 5 days to the year. they got seriously busy and had a child for each of the 5 days.
