This strange contraption came about because I was commissioned by a rather regular client with a piece she wanted to make a wedding present. At the beginning I felt a bit lost, since she had no idea of what could satisfy the soon-to-be couple. Then while talking, and quite by chance, she mentioned they are both fascinated with Africa (where they will also be spending their honeymoon).
