Tragedies occur all around us in nature, most unseen. This butterfly was dying on an asphalt pathway.

The shot is not very good, but this female Monarch butterfly was being blown along the ground by the wind while I was trying to shoot it. I know I could have staged it, but I did not, out of respect.
