She held the head high,
the ceremonial blade-
red with fluid
Stayed just behind her.

An offering to the Gods,
she held it by stringy black hair.
In honour of her Matriarch Priestess.

It was then, as she lowered her red hands...
And looked to me-
That I fell in love.
