Alrighty then... Let's start with the high-points. The concept, though simple, is both adorable, and as far as anatomy goes, spot on. The jaw makes perfect sense, and the spot where the base of the tongue meets the bottom of the mouth is placed wonderfully. Lengthwise, the neck seems right for a head-structure such as this. The muzzle is what seems to stand out on this guy. The way it's been drawn, it seems as if it caves in on itself.

Now for the low points... Other than the beginning of the neck, I can't find much wrong with it. However, the base of the neck sticks out like a sore thumb. It looks like you literally hurried to finish it, and places color and random detail wherever you could just to fill in some space. Look at the base of the neck (bottom left) and look just above that, where the lines portray scales, and what seem to be growths along it then compare.

Now I understand perfectly that being a headshot, the picture is supposed to fade out, and one isn't too worried about how the neck looks. But that's no excuse for laziness, or a spot that looks unprofessional.

If I had to rate it out of 20 stars? I'd give you 14.5
