I discovered this formula some time ago, made one piece with it [link] and didn't dare to touch it any more, since I was really struggling to make it look decent. But after a while I decided to give it a shot again and I'm absolutely in love with it now. The formula gives so much intricate detail, it's amazing. Every time I work with it, it reminds me of Russian patterns from <em>Khokhloma</em> [link] and of Russian fairy-tales I used to read a lot in my childhood, of my grandmother, who loved Russian art and culture, and had a collection of wooden <em>Khokhloma</em> spoons, lacquer boxes and <em>matryoshka</em> dolls...
