this piece is sort of a redux of the first Scout/Sparkle pic i did, which i had planned on using for the back cover of the book. i even went back into that old drawing and updated it a bit, but then i decided to do a whole new drawing that would fit the book dimensions more, and have Scout standing up straight and stoic to contrast with her curled up fetal position on the cover.
