:iconSaturnAngel: recently presented a nifty research project she entitled "Zombie Action Girls: Character Decay in Heroines of Film" where she focused on the degredation of most secondary heroines through trilogies in favour of strengthening the male lead (oversimplified explanation, I'm sure).

She wanted two pieces of art for the presentation, the zombie girl and the warrior woman to show the contrasting role of the characters she was looking at. They were put on presentation board with a really awesome marquee top. For it, she won second prize for presentation and research in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at our Undergraduate Research Symposium (I won first for a presentation on dating a manuscript and the implications of the date...it was titled "Anatomy of a Manuscript: The Telling Tales of Robert Graves's 'Untitled Work on Myth'").

Anywho, this is a slightly modified version of what went on her board... :D
