Artist's Statement

This is a snapshot I took while visiting my Love up in Fallon, NV. Being a native to Arizona I do not get to experience real seasons... ill never forget the beauty of the scene i saw there in that little town...

I decided to reflect on the photo with a short narrative.

"Fog enveloped the town as a full moon reflected the light of its brother in the heavens. Anything and everything had been consumed in a fine mist below. Droplets soon grew, joining together, forming a new masterpiece of its lady winter.

When the town stirred at the break of the dawn, it had been transported. it had awoken to a strange new world. One with such landscapes to be decorated far more ornately than any string of lights man kind could imitate... for its majestic shine and tinkle came from the greatest of these, the sun.

Trees that were once dormant found new life! Miraculously they bloomed despite the freezing cold of winter! However, that of leaves, and flowers were not what adorned their cold and gangly branches.

They had been cleansed by nature itself, in a blanket of white. A promise, that soon the change of season would breathe again into their veins. That the moons brother would rise again transforming the cold crystals that clung to darkened wood into new warmth and life."
