One thing I've been doing lately is work with symbols, in the Jungian sense. It's been interesting noticing the things that leap out at me as "meaningful". One of them is, strangely enough, female figures with horns. I do not know why, but that's one image that pops up in my imagination a lot, with very little encouragement. I dunno why. It has enough impact, though, for me to paint it without fully understanding it.
