Six Word Story Contest - 7 3Mo.Subs to be won!A type of Flash Fiction, six word stories are (very) short stories with an exact word count: six words. SixWordStories is the place where, alongside quality, quantity really does matter. Though these stories are so brief in length, they can be as profound, if not more, than the prose and poetry you see and read every day, partly because six word stories can tell us so much and yet contain so little.More Like This
As a Group, we encourage writers to explore their boundaries with prompts, collaborations and more, but we accept anyone and everyone too! Whether you are a digital artist, photographer, or something else entirely, if you can string six words together into a story, this is the place to be!
So getting to the point of this article, we are kickstarting this year with a six word story contest! We have some awesome prizes and hopefully enough freedom for you to enjoy yourselves too! Please support the contest and the article so that more can join in on the fun!
CompanyAlone in this world I walk,More Like This
Lost in a crowd of people,
Wondering if I will ever see you,
Wondering if I will ever meet you...
All alone in the corner of a room,
The moonlight shining over the darkness,
Thoughts of you fill my mind,
Thoughts of you fill my soul...
While looking out the window,
Emptiness covers life,
I need your company,
You need to find me...
All alone I go to sleep,
The air feels so cold,
Thoughts of you fill my heart,
Thoughts of you fill my dreams...
Until a soft whisper wipes away the tears.
I Envy The DancerDance, darlingMore Like This
Dance your pain to dust
Dance until you mind shuts off
Make the silence spread like fog
Until your feet will bleed
Don't succumb to the temptation
Don't catch you breath
Make your feet hurt
Make your knees wail
Make you muscles weep
You know I envy you?
The only thing I can do I talk
A thing that hurts much more
Then to dance on bleeding feet
So dance my dear
And maybe you can make
My mind shut off
You..You were like a ray of warm sunshine, which melted her ice cold heart and taught it to love again. So it started beating again in her chest taking your name..More Like This
You were like a moon, who brightened the path of people who lost their ways, guiding them to their destination..
You were like a fleck of snow, who melted in her warm hands, as she desperately clung on to you..
You were like a shimmering star, who sparkled brightly in the sky at night. Under whose guidance the sailors sailed their boats..
You were like a warm breeze, which imbibed her fragnence like a flower and wrapped it all around you..
You were all these things and she was everything to you.

Sunrise, Sunlight, SunsetI was once hiding in the shadowsMore Like This
Drenched in pain, overflowing sorrow
Picturing the past of a failure
On an illusion that one's love was pure
Then she, the sun pierced the sky
With a light that is warm and bright
She showed the love that I cannot hope
But tied with rules I cannot cope
Years passed and then I realized
That this union is nothing but lies
Chances were given but nothing has changed
Your "love" got my heart caged -
And so I say:
"Don't own me anymore, it is not right
Even though we've always waltz day and night
Don't think about me, you have your chance
Please let me go, this is my last dance"
Engulfed in darkness once again
The difference now is I feel no pain
Many said it's a puerile decision
All I want is to have my freedom
In the shadows, without the sun to guide me
I returned back to where I used to be
Sitting in the corner, watching the window
Waiting for someone to light my tomorrow
