Rapid footsteps sounded like rain softly taping the rooftops as an alley cat shriek outs knocking over a trash can and a female screams echo across the otherwise sleepy harbor town of Mogrel. A blur of a shadow flashes across the thick fog as it rolls in off the harbor. Soon more thieves and cut throats would slither out of their usually hiding places like mice fed fatten snakes, secure with the fact they could now do their deeds unseen by the slowly inept fools that made up the town guards. The lowlifes were now able to slip in and out of hiding places all over town they were the cockroaches of every city scattering away at first light. But they were not the problem of our blue blur no he had other more pressing matters at the moment like staying alive.
Blue Phantom's heart beat wildly like a cage wild cat trying to claw its way out of his chest making him groan out in pain, as he leap fro

The Guardian Spirits Ch. 2The lush and shining forest that surrounded Averon was seemingly endless. Its beauty was magnificent, and she felt at home here. It seemed nothing could ruin this splendor.More Like This
'Ohse min hahch. Deleman gtor uahng, tyria lirech smatialonikhal.'
The whispering of a soft, feminine, echoing voice thrummed in Averon's head. This was not wolven tongue, nor any she'd ever heard before. But now that she remembered, Thornwhiskers had spoken this language before
The voice faded, and Averon continued on, toward RushWater. The town was farther than she had expected, and before the next morning, her paw pads hurt and she was exhausted from the two-day nonstop trek. After a few hours, she stopped to check her course and rest.
Averon was going the right way, but after careful inspection of the map, she found out that it was a four day trip, and that RushWater was a fairly large town that would be a good place to restock on food and supplies. Maybe there she would meet a good companion like Eld
The Guardian Spirits Ch. 3Averon looked up on the third day toward Airashade, and saw something pass over them. It looked oddly bird-like, but it was not a bird. It was large, black, and had piercing red eyes. There were a lot of things out here, like Hell Hounds, and Gnarls, which were dog-like creatures that had vines in their fur, and used those vines as weapons. There were birds, but none like this. Before Averon could move, the creature shot at the two of them, a shadowy flame coming down fast at them.More Like This
Saiya looked up at the flame coming, and jumped, drawing a sword and deflecting the blast with a single swing. She seemed to float in the air, and jumped again in midair, landing atop the beast and stabbing its neck with the sword. It fell, and Averon, standing in shock, witnessed it die and roar as it drew its last breath.
"S-S-Saiya what was that?" Averon gasped.
"Well, they call it a Black Shade; it is a type of dragon-bird," Saiya answered.
Averon looked at the Black Shade, and then to Saiya. She lo
The Guardian Spirits Ch. 4Zen was sleeping, Saiya was getting them water, and Averon was keeping watch. Nighttime in the forest was not pleasant; everywhere they heard sounds of creatures watching them, and the steady beat of wings above the thick tree cover. Averon was beginning to wonder why they'd even come to the Firean Wood, and not gone a different way. This seemed like a place of legend, though; the ancient trees and pleasant daytime light filtering through the lush green, the cool, damp moss cushioning their weary paws, and the nonstop, soothing rush of the clear water echoing through the serene forest. Once night came, all of the calm serenity was dissolved into terror.More Like This
There was one night in particular that Averon knew for a fact she would remember. The night a Hollow Owl attacked, and she was the one to kill it, to feel herself as one with her sword.
Though, this night was not as clear, and still the shrieks and screams continued, as they did every night. Saiya was careful, looking slowly before she

Life here in this area was hard for its inhabitants. Many of them often left, but there were the good sides. The grass was fertile, lush green and damp. It was always cool. The trees were green all year round, unless there was a fire caused by lightning. Those fires were dangerous, but luckily the rains stopped them soon enough.
Life for dragons here was extremely hard. The trees covered prey, blocked flight, and made for an inescapable trap for crashed dragons. It was also hard to fight for land or prey; it was too small and close together for full scale fights or even travel.
The dragons said to live here, in the lands always covered in mist, were Night Furies. Many had adapted or kept to the high grounds. I was an exception.
I was one of those Night Furies.
I was looked upon as the one who could live within the forest, the one who ruled the
