Snow. Two feet of it had already accumulated, and it was still falling. It didn't help that Dr. Wily's fortress was out in the middle of nowhere, not that snowplows would want to visit the good doctor anyway. The Wily Numbers were snowed in until the blizzard was over and Chargeman could get out to clear the way.
Metalman stared restlessly out the living room window, trying to think of what he was going to do about this. The blizzard was definitely going to make things difficult, if not impossible, but he had somewhere to be at all costs. He knew very well that his circuits might freeze, or his joints might ice up, or something else horrible might happen.
A red-and-yellow blur zoomed up beside him. Quickman leaned on his elbows, chin in his hands, looking up at his brother. "Hell of a storm huh?" he asked. "Are you gonna miss your date or what?"
