I Who Never ArrivedYou who never met my gazeMore Like This
Enamored, who was incessantly fleeting
since I ventured out for you.
I don't know what to say to appease you,
though I have not you given up on
burning your soul into mine from within
the crashing seas of time.
Mountain tops in the rain,
plains painted from above with streaks of light,
clammy clandestine coves
and ever deepening pits.
thrumming with vibrations of THE ALL.
All in I recall having searched for you,
who eternally is as visible as the wind.
You, Enamored, who are all
the only rolling snowy hills I have ever peered at,
needing. My hand on a door, I almost
stepped out, wondering how to find you.
Like a blind sailor guided by the wind,
I wandered down streets and into stores.
The world is composed of disorienting mirrors.
I am sleeping less every night.
I cannot find you.
A maddening notion rushes through my mind,
losing my Enamored.
The eclipse of you.
I who never arrived in your arms.
