I know, another selfportrait..

But it's my art, and I'm not doing anything wrong, so don't bother giving me any comments about me being full of myself..

By the way, this is for Disi.

Taken on the way to Port Antonio

This one was actually a little dangerous to take as the road was dug out on that side so its very narrow and not so safe to be stopping at to take pics

All comments welcomed and appreciated

The Dark Tree...

Grown between rocks on top of an abandoned fortress.
Dead, but yet proud with branches reaching for the sky..

The Dark Tree - captured on a rainy day, using infraRed technology and slight tone corrections in Photoshop.

Thanks for watching & thanks for your support

Yours truly; after taking pics of my totaled car in the rain, I decided to grab the magnifying light from the office downstairs... So, combo flourescent + infrared, sony hi8, no alterations.

Update, 12/11/04: I've been informed (and I've noticed over the past couple of years, myself) that this image has been stolen way too many times... I'd really just like to ask everyone to do me a big favor... If you see this image ANYWHERE other than here and on my own site (arthappens.com) PLEASE send me a note, message me, whatever... I'd really like to stay informed. Thanks. -annie

Another 1000 Islands shot. I had several of these from this night (I stood on one of my friend's docks), but I loved the reflection off this one. The clouds are a bit too dark for my liking, I would have preferred more color in them, but I suppose it adds to the intensity of the glare.

...and then I woke up an noticed that it has not been just a dream!

I've captured this shot shortly before I went to norway. I still needed to test some settings with the infraRED filter, because I wanted to use it in the photo shooting with the Norwegian Band. Light was perfect at this day :)
Colors slightly corrected in Photo Shop - contrast has been adjusted.

I hope you enjoy ? :) ...many more photos will follow!

tigaer-design.com proudly presents: terragen - so close (no matter how far)

alright, what do we have here... this one took nearly 4 weeks to finish it off. tried several ideas and different techniques. goal was to create a waterfall as good as possible. a lot of heart and sweat went into this waterfall and it was worth all the work. i achieved what i had planned. this pic is part of a collab between me and *boyaka - i'll keep you informed when its done.

every interested should take a look into the render without post process... surely an interesting thing to compare. :) link can be found in the stats below. this pic shows absolutely that i'm definitely no ace in terragen. hehe ;)

rendered with // terragen ver. 9.19
rendered resolution // 3200x2400
rendering time // ca. 4 hours
render without post process // [link]
post process done in // photoshop cs
post process time // ca. 30 hours
total filesize // *.psd with a res. of 3200x2400 -> 138mb
total layers // ca. 53
inspired by // the idea to create a detailed waterfall completely out of my mind

FULLVIEW ESSENTIAL!!!!!

happy viewing...

I photo taken a matter of seconds after 'Amber'. Obviously the colours have been altered & enhanced significantly but the original light intensity, cloud formation etc have not been altered at all.

Just another picture from my trip to newfoundland. It's a little crooked, but it's hard to keep your camera straight when the ship is rocking like crazy... anyway, hope you like it!

This was captured after a tornado-proned storm passed over my house. As the storm approached, the clouds had a tint of green.. with clouds moving all around and a very fast pace. In other words, there was rotation over my house, but I was too idiotic and amazed to go into my basement. Luckily.. nothing had formed!

The sky was so abstract after the stormed left. Everywhere around had a weird orange aurora. It was pretty neat for a while untill it went away. The funny(?) thing is that if I were to off took a capture on the opposite of the sunset, the storm was still in progress.. lightning bolts and all. Except for the fact that the lightning bolts came pretty close to me while I was taking the picture, I had fun.

MASSIVE fog starting to roll into Dubai Marina. Taken from the 85th floor of Princess Tower, currently the tallest residential tower in the world.

EDIT: Since quite a few people don't seem to like the fact that I did not clone out the cameras in the upper left corner I'd like to clarify. I could have done that, but I deliberately chose not to. I shared this awesome experience with a few good friends and this is my way of honoring this fact. I even intentionally framed the image to include the cameras in the first place! And I also have a few snaps without other cameras in the frame - which I might upload some other time ;)

Cheers :ahoy:

An Alice in Wonderland Parody... :w00t:

I just love how surreal this photo came out. All of the elements here (except graffiti and smoke) were composed on the set. But because of the lighting, all the details popped out! Our awesome photographer *jaytablante is amazing! His lighting skills are overkill! *___*

Make-up: Noel Flores, Charlie Manapat, Nadia Bouhou
Styling: Mico Calma, Badj Genato
Art Direction and Final Artwork: *jaytablante Jay Tablante , Angelo Lico
Production Design: Raffy Tesoro
Models: *blackmage9 Alodia Gosiengfiao (White Queen) , *orangeish Ashley Gosiengfiao (Alice) , Natalia Santiago (Rabbit), Faus Ongtengco (Mad Hatter), Maria Dolonius (Cheshire Cat)

From *jaytablante :
The Alice in Wonderland cosplay shoots became popular when Tim Burton's rendition came out. I know I'm one of the last ones to jump into the bandwagon, but better late than never, right? So many have replicated the tea party scene, so I thought of having my own take at it.

This was done with one shot. The only thing we added in FA / Post-production were the graffiti and smoke.
