Little more than a bungalow, the façade of the house was white with slightly-darker-than-Dinoco-blue trim. Quaint and welcoming, the house seemed almost to smile at the young racecar approaching it. Lightning smiled back, his admiration for The King deepening.
The rays of the late afternoon sun were a brilliant gold as they stretched from beyond the Tennessee hills to illuminate the many different colors of gladiolus and jessamine adorning the front yard. A Dead Man's Will:
A hundred years could have passed, a thousand. But really it was only just ten. For ten years my baby sat rusting away in that junkyard: broken, busted, and rotting. For ten years I willed my sweetheart back into shape. It was an effort that left me useless for months at a time, but I never gave up. I fought time with sheer willpower and eventually I won. The only thing I couldn't get rid of were the bloodstains. By the time a man came to buy my baby, she was perfect again, and I had the strength of a horror movie monster and a grudge to match that of Edmond Dantes. After all, being dead does weird things to people, and this town has a lot to answer for.
A short stack topped with processed strawberries and a mound of coolwhip is my first meal in my new hometown: Icebuten, North Carolina. It's chilly here for late summer, but the rolling hills stretching towards the larger mountains that careen over the la

Derek nodded slightly, thinking of some of the things shed yelled when hed made a tiny mistake.
The car leapt forward as if stung and they pulled into the parking lot. Derek was out of the car before it had finished stopping. He ran inside, and up the stairs, thinking the Elevator would be too slow.

Oh, good morning, Dr. Stiles. Angie said, and Derek looked up, rubbing at his eyes. The young blonde girl shrugged off her overcoat and hung it on the rack next to the entrance of the room. Did you make it home last night? I meant to wake you, but I forgot
Nope I wonder if I have time to get home and get changed? He glanced over at the clock. It read 6:30 AM. He muttered softly. Yeah If anyone is looking for me, could you tell them I havent made it in yet?
Sure thing, Dr. Stiles. She smiled and sat down at her desk.
Derek took a quick glance at her from the corner of his eye and walked out, pulling on his coat. He headed out to his car, unlocking the door and climbing in. He collapsed into the driv

Youre wrong! he said softly, trying to hit Savato with the laser. It promptly overheated and shut down after dissolving one of the shields. He growled, trying to stab it with his scalpel, to distract it, but it sliced open the heart again, loosing about eleven of the miniature Savatos and one of the larger pink ones.
He cursed softly, then heard the beeping of the laser, which signified that it was fully charged. He grabbed it, holding it in his right hand, the scalpel sitting close. He blasted most of the babies, but Savato managed to catch one of them, and it seemed to Derek that the thing got faster. Derek wanted to just use the healing touch, but he knew hed need it later.
Come on you little parasite. he growled at it, and it darted, sitting still. H
