Gerard didn't want to be away from Frankie, especially considering where he was going. He wanted nothing to happen to Frankie while he wasn't there. When she answered, the confused, concerned look on her face was enough for the two of them to enter and take seats wherever they could. Gerard’s mother sat on the chair in the corner, and Frank pulled Gerard to the floor and rested his head on Gerard's shoulder. "I swear I was taking him back to school, Mom," Gerard started. "So, we were, I don't know. We said goodbye and Frank was going to get out of the car, but something was thrown at the window."

"Stop it, Mikey," Gerard warned. He glanced at his mother who sent Mikey a threatening look. Mikey lowered his head and put his chin in his hand. He kicked Gerard's foot again. "Mikey. Knock it off," Gerard said firmly. He really wasn't in the mood.
