“I really don’t think you understand me. As a matter of fact, I think you’re taking steps to not understand me at all.” Peter Parker Stark-Rogers knew he was making a bad decision. He was a smart kid (always had been) and typically made good choices. This was not one of them.
“They’re your parents! How bad could they be? After all, they raised you.” Gwen Stacy. The prettiest girl he knew (sans Natasha but come on, you don’t describe a ‘woman’ with the word ‘girl’) was his girlfriend. He should have known she’d want to meet his parents eventually. He’d entertained the idea of having Bruce and Natasha as stand ins.
“You haven’t met them. I don’t exactly have an ordinary family.” Peter sighed.
“No one does. Everyone says their parents are so weird but they never are. C’mon, you’ve met mine.” Gwen laughed.
“Yeah, they were great. But m
It's Going to Be OkayHe woke slowly. Everything was fuzzy, and the sound was distorted, and he couldn’t seem to make his eyes open. The turtle felt like he was floating, hovering somewhere between consciousness and agonizing silence. How long had he been asleep? Where was he?More Like This
“Leonardo? LEO?!” The voice sounded near a meltdown – shaking with small gasps as the speaker fought for control. The sound of heavy cement pieces scraping over one another as they were moved grated in Leo’s ears, and he hissed at the sound.
He wanted to wave his hand, tell the stranger to be quiet for a bit. He was too tired to talk.
Then the light suddenly flooded back. There was movement and sound, and Leo felt himself being dragged downwards and slammed back into his body with enough force that it jerked him into consciousness. And there was pain – agonizing, blood-curling pain that tore through his body and elicited a shriek that – oh shell – only made everything hurt worse.
FeathersRaphael wasn’t much of a soda drinker. But even he couldn’t deny there was just something plain relaxing about sitting on the edge of April’s rooftop at sunset, sipping an ice cold root beer and watching the last of the suns glowing golden rays slip out of sight among the city’s skyline with one of his brothers. And for once, this brother sat beside him in pure silence.More Like This
Well, almost pure silence.
“Do you ever get scared of being around Don so much?”
Raph paused, soda halfway to his mouth and he cocked his brow, “What kinda question is that?”
“I dunno,” Mikey gave a half shrug, fingers fiddling with his soda tab, “I mean with how much time you guys spend together, don’t you freak out that he could do something to you?”
Raphael gave a loud snort before tilting his head back for another gulp.
“I’m pretty sure Donnie is the last turtle I need to worry

“You’re slowing down in your old age, Raphie!” Mikey called out, running backwards as he taunted his older brother.
“We’re practically the same age, shell for brains,” Raph growled at him, secretly admiring Mikey’s incredible athleticism. How did he always manage to make everything look so easy?
“I’m younger and I’m better looking,” Mikey insisted, sounding completely insufferable.
“You’re also gonna get splattered if ya’ don’t pay attention to where you’re going,” Raph called out. “How the heck are ya’ supposed to see where they went?”
“I’m watching our back trail,” Mikey told him. “They might be leading us into a trap, have you thought of that?”

It takes a lot to catch a ninja off-guard. Battling at four to one odds isn't nearly enough to do it. Battling at four to one odds in an abandoned subway station with a crumbling floor and a ceiling threatening to cave at any moment doesn't cut it either. Not even doing all of that with a previously injured arm is enough to slow Leonardo down.
Michelangelo could almost admire the way his eldest brother fluidly wove between his enemies to strike with absolute precision in the exact spot that would fell his enemy with the least amount of exertion while simultaneously avoiding the sharp, broken edges of concrete beneath his feet almost if he wasn't so busy keeping himself alive in those exact same conditions. As it was, the brief glimpses he got of Leonardo

The battle shell needed a tune up, the security system needed an update, his latest invention needed adjustments and all he had managed so far that day was not blowing up at Leo for breaking the toaster again. Don sighed and looked dejectedly at the screw driver and needle nose pliers in his calloused hands. Leo shouldn’t be allowed to make toast anymore because the mechanic couldn’t even count how many times he’d found himself sitting at the kitchen table putting the appliance back to functioning order.
With so much that needed to be done, why was it that a
